Runs and Identify: captures from the app
2026-10-24 · captured headlessly from the real page on a recorded scenario of the rack, with the fixture plugin; no hardware was touched.
Two things the app can do now. A real action runs on a live terminal you can read, type into and stop (captures). Identify makes a device show itself harmlessly, so you can tell which physical thing a row is (captures).
Runs: a live terminal for every real action
A calibration run on the terminal panel. The run line says what is running and offers Show output; the panel under it shows the command, live progress and a prompt waiting for a typed answer. Typing goes to the process, and Ctrl-C stops it. (Recorded scenario, no hardware.)Two runs, two tabs. Switching between them keeps each run's own scrollback.Show output on a utility's run line opens its run in the panel. The run finished: the tab says done, and the result line stays under the header.Stop pressed: the plugin's own stop ran afterwards because this was a moves-class run, and the tab says stopped. The same panel in the dark colour scheme.
Identify: which physical thing is this row?
The Utilities menu on a board. Identify sits in the Motion group, beside Run calibration. The dry run for Identify (wiggle): nothing ran. It lists the exact preconditions it would check (nobody else holds the adapter, the bus lock is free, the board answers a query, it is stopped with no fault, its configuration passes the interlock, the joint is clear) and the class, moves. The Utilities menu on the adapter. It has no light, so it offers Identify (each board). The dry run for Identify (each board) on the adapter: the same name, acting on every board that answers, in CAN id order.
The hero video of the run flow is not in the public copy. Its frames show the machine's name and device serials; these stills have them covered.
